Zusammenfassung: | The treatment of steel in the LSRU (ladle-type steel-refining unit) involves the necessary set of operations: temperature measurement, sampling, addition of ferroalloys, mixing and heating of the metal. The slag is not pumped out of the ladle. The main technical indices of the operation of the LSRU are as follows: electrode consumption - 0.9 kg/ton; electric power consumption - 80 kWh/ton; capacity of the unit - 25 heats a day; assimilation of ferroalloys - approximately 100% (except for titanium and aluminum). The ability of the LSRU to treat small, critical volumes of steel makes it possible to obtain the results characteristic of such a process: to reduce the consumption of electric power and electrodes, shorten the heat, provide for 100% assimilation of the ferroalloys, more closely approach the desired chemical composition, and improve the microstructure and macrostructure. |
