Zusammenfassung:The superplastic deformation behavior in a coarse-grained Fe-28.9Al-5Cr-0.5Nb-0.1C at. pct alloy is studied. Large elongation is achieved with a maximum value of 254 percent at 850 C and an initial strain rate of 8.4 x 10 exp -4/s. The substructure of the deformed specimens is characterized by subgrain boundaries with low misorientation angles and high dislocation density within the subgrains, indicating that the basic process of deformation is the motion of dislocation rather than grain boundary sliding.
