Zusammenfassung: | Medium carbon steel with different content of silicon is undergone to normalizing and annealing as well as to austenitizing at 950 deg C for the most complete transfer of alloying elements into solid solution. A degree of bainite transformation in the process of isothermal soak is determined by dilatothermal method. It is shown that the rise of silicon content up to 0.8-1.5% is promising in assurance of improving in the strength characteristics without lowering in plasticity and impact toughness when forming the structures of martensite and bainite. |
