Zusammenfassung:A passive device for emergency shutdown of a fast reactor is described. The device is based on the bellows operating elements of the fuse type. In comparison with analogous devices the developed one has the following advantages: the threshold character of operation, generation of considerable forces, low sensitivity to operational factors, including the neutron fluency, operation reliability and design simplicity.
