Zusammenfassung: | In April 1999, the sinter plant at Mechel replaced one of its obsolete machines with a new, highly efficient machine (the MAK-75) having a sintering area of 75 m. The unit essentially represents a new generation of sintering machines. The YuUMZ began shipping machines of the given type in 1987, the plant having made the first such unit for the Abagursk Sintering Plant of the Karaganda Metallurgical Combine. Since then, 11 machines of different sizes have been made, both to replace old equipment and as new installations. Designers have incorporated improvements and modifications connected with conditions specific to the given sintering plant. The MAK-75 model at the YuUMZ makes use of innovations developed at the plant and at specialized institutes, with allowance being made for experience in the operation of sintering plants at the leading metallurgical companies in Russia and abroad. |
