Performance of Solupor ® separator materials in lithium ion batteries
It is shown that Solupor is an attractive material for lithium ion batteries. The key properties of low turtuosity, high strength and puncture resistance, and excellent wettability combined with the high rate capability and low-temperature performance are due to the UHMWPE network structure.
