Zusammenfassung:Although non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is associated with metabolic disorders, its influence on albuminuria has not been determined. The aim of this study was to identify the relationship between NAFLD and albuminuria in the general Korean population. Data from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys (KNHANES) of 2008–2011 were analyzed (n = 1795). Albuminuria was defined as an albumin-to-creatinine ratio of ≥30 mg/g in random spot urine samples. NAFLD was defined as a fatty liver index (FLI) ≥60 or NAFLD liver fat score (LFS) > −0.64. A total of 289 (16.1 %) subjects were classified as having albuminuria.
