Zusammenfassung:The development of new controlled radical polymerization methods has progressed rapidly over the last five years. One of the most useful of these methods, atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP), a powerful technique for the design and synthesis of new polymeric materials with novel structures, is reviewed. The Figure represents a hyperbranched polymer resulting from ATRP of p‐chloromethylstyrene.
