Zusammenfassung: | The factors influencing the spatial distribution of the core component can be divided into geometric, material and process parameters. The distribution of the components is substantially determined by the viscosities of both components, the viscosity ratio of the core and skin melt, the length of the simultaneous phase and the speed of the flow front.
In order to describe the layer thickness formation and the melt flow instabilities new models are introduced. They are based on empirically determined interrelations of individual limiting quantities and allow the description of the essential effects of the melt flow during the mould filling process. |
