Zusammenfassung:Local manganese moments at different lattice sites in intermetallic Mn compounds can be derived by analysis of the 55Mn nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra. This was used for Gd x Y 1− x Mn 6Ge 6 pseudoternary compounds and Mn 5Si 3C 1.5 films. Careful NMR line shape analysis also yields anisotropic hyperfine and quadrupole interaction pointing to weak but non-negligible orbital moments.
