Zusammenfassung:A new bauxite processing technique is presented. The use of sonics in the beneficiation/digestion process has proved to be beneficial: it reduces the caustic solution concentrations, reduces the temperature for digestion, improves the precipitate processing rate and enhances the large particle yield for producing Al sub 2 O sub 3 .
