Microstructure of stress-induced martensite in a Ti–Ni–Hf high temperature shape memory alloy

The microstructure of stress-induced martensite and its evolution in a Ti 36Ni 49Hf 15 alloy have been investigated by TEM techniques. And the reasons for no stress plateau in the tensile stress–strain curve of the Ti 36Ni 49Hf 15 alloy deformed in an austenite state have also been discussed.
