Zusammenfassung: | Domestic industry still has the technical expertise and production capacity to make equipment meeting world standards: arc steelmaking furnaces (ASFs), steel finishing units with electric-arc heating (HSFUs), and vacuum degassing units. This article examines the feasibility of creating a steelmaking complex with a capacity of 2,200,000 tons/yr to produce high-quality structural steel with a wide range of uses extending from general machine construction to shipbuilding, as well as for major large-diameter pipelines in the Far North. The complex would include the following: two DSP-140 electric furnaces; two ADSN-140 ladle-type treatment units (LTUs); two continuous casters capable of casting semifinished products such as 250 x 360 mm blooms and /or 250 x (750-2520) blooms at rates of 1,000,000 and 1,200,000 tons/yr, respectively. The equipment is installed in the shop in two parallel production lines: DSP-140 electric furnace + ADSN-140 treatment unit + continuous caster. |
