Zusammenfassung:Chlorine profiles in cement paste samples manufactured with Ordinary Portland cement (OPC) were quantified by using scanning proton micro-PIXE (particle induced X-ray emission). The technique successfully profiled the chlorine at levels previously not accessible by EDX studies and at levels of physical resolution unmatched by conventional engineering techniques.
