Zusammenfassung: | Two cross-linkable monomers, diallyl ether of dibromoneopentylglycol and diallyl ether of bromobutendiol, have been used as curing agents for unsaturated polyester resins in paint coatings. Both monomers were acting effectively against oxygen inhibition. Bromine in their molecules decrease the flammability of the obtained products. Monomers have been obtained in direct allylation by use of allyl bromide on inter phase in the presence of proper catalysts-triethylallylammonium chloride. The obtained resins were ultraviolet curable. A photocuring system consisting of mono- or diazide and hydroxyalkylphenone has been applied. The optimum amount of azide was found to be at 15 wt% |
