[The original article appeared in Scripta Materialia, vol. 43, no. 9, pp. 835-840, 16 Oct. 2000, and is abstracted in Metals Abstracts under the accession number 200102-62-0172 with the following abstract: The effect of Relative Particle Size (RPS) ratio on clustering is studied by varying the size of the matrix particles rather than varying that of the matrix and reinforcement particles simultaneously. Onset of clustering of small particles depends upon both RPS ratio and reinforcement volume fraction. Limits for clustering of the second phase particles and the critical volume fraction can be readily predicted from the Clustering Probability Maps.]
