Zusammenfassung:Corrosion characteristics of the Kh18N10T steel specimens, cut out from the main sodium circuits of the research reactor with sodium coolant BR-5/BR-10 during its operation in 1959-1999 are described. The investigation result analysis testifies to good corrosion characteristics of the sodium coolant. The possibilities of increasing the operation service life of the sodium equipment of industrial fast reactors to 60 and more years are discussed.
