Zusammenfassung:Based in an analysis of the absorption and luminescence spectra of Y2SiO5 crystals, the existence of two Pr(3+) optical centers associated with the location of doped ions at nonequivalent cation sites is proved. A nonradiative excitation energy transfer between the nonequivalent Pr(3+) optical centers is observed. A preliminary analysis of the transfer mechanisms is made. (Author)
