Zusammenfassung:PS/PIB/PS triblock copolymers produced in hexane/methyl chloride cosolvents were analyzed using curve resolution software in conjunction with high resolution gel filtration. Fractional precipitation and selective solvent extraction were applied to a sample to confirm contaminating species. Block copolymers were 70-75% target molecule, and 20% coupled (and higher) copolymers formed by intermolecular electrophilic aromatic substitution reactions. (Original abstract - amended)
