Zusammenfassung:Structure and microstructure of PM Pt-Y sub 2 O sub 3 system with 0.25 wt.% Y sub 2 O sub 3 prepared from recycled Pt waste are described in the paper. The Y sub 2 O sub 3 particle is shown to be of two size categories: large particles or clusters of 0.5-3 mu m, identified by optical microscopy, and fine particles of 0.1-0.4 mu m in thin foils which are located at grain boundaries and inside the grains of the matrix.
