Zusammenfassung: | 5 formulated diets were prepared in which 0, 25, 50, 75, and 100 per cent of the fish meal content was replaced by silkworm pupae and clam meat as a dietary protein source. Study over a period of 90 days showed that a diet containing no more than 50 per cent of its protein being replaced by these 2 alternative sources showed significantly better diet utilization and growth rate. Lower growth rate was observed when more than half the fish meal protein was replaced. (Original abstract-amended) |
