Zusammenfassung: | The development of steel sheets with super deep drawability exceeding conventional Lankford value (r) has been required, although the present upper limit of r value has been 2.4-2.6. The new hot strip mill started operation at Chiba works, Kawasaki Steel Co. in May 1995. A paper reports on the newly developed sheet steel with ultra-high Lankford value, which was produced by the applications of the hot lubrication in ferrite region technique in this mill. The key technology is to obtain preferred (111) orientation as hot rolled condition. By cold rolling and recrystallization annealing, cold rolled sheets with r=2.94 was obtained. |
