Zusammenfassung: | The modifications caused by MgO additions on reaction sintering of the composite material are established. A methodology of research using optimal design allows the specification of the influence of sintering parameters on microstructure and mechanical properties. The four parameters chosen were sintering temperature, soaking time, intermediate soaking time and applied pressure. From results obtained the optimal mechanical properties are achieved at 1625 C. 9 refs. |
