On the Theory of the Formation of the Final Charge State of Argon and Neon Atoms Scattered by Surfaces of Silver and Palladium Polycrystals

The degree of ionization of Ag and Pd polycrystals bombarded by Ne exp + and Ar exp + ions has been calculated. Two methods for final charge state formation, the Auger effect and resonance neutralization, are considered.
