Zusammenfassung: | Previously abstracted from original as item 199505-58-0531. A study has been made into the possibility of application of highly concentrated heating sources such as lasers, electron beams and compressed electric arcs to intensify ageing effects in heat resistant maraging steel type N12Kh5M3DYu. On the basis of metallographic and dilatometric data the thermokinetic diagram has been plotted that reveals phase transformation only in martensitic region (approx200 deg C) regardless of cooling rates. The use of rapid heating of built up maraging steel layer results in a decrease of hardness by 2-3 HRC compared to furnace heating, but this method is considered to be efficient from industrial and economical standpoints. |
