Zusammenfassung: | This study reports on the new optimum alloy composition which is supposed to maximize the coarsening resistance of the strengthening Al sub 3 (Ti,V,Zr) phase at high temperatures of service in this system. With respect to the coarsening resistance and volume fraction of the D0 sub 23 Al sub 3 M dispersion, the choice of optimum alloy composition appears to be that of mixed Ti-Zr addition with a small amount of V. This approach is suggested as a guide for alloy design and may not be quantitatively accurate for all purposes. |
