Anodic leaching of tungsten alloy swarf : a statistical approach
The regression equation obtained from experiments carried out on a statistical design shows that within the region investigated (anodic current density 250-450 A m exp -2 , sodium hydroxide concentration 30-100 g dm exp -3 and sodium chloride concentration 20-80 g dm exp -3 ) the higher current dens...

Zusammenfassung: | The regression equation obtained from experiments carried out on a statistical design shows that within the region investigated (anodic current density 250-450 A m exp -2 , sodium hydroxide concentration 30-100 g dm exp -3 and sodium chloride concentration 20-80 g dm exp -3 ) the higher current density and high sodium chloride concentration have a negative effect on W dissolution, whereas sodium hydroxide concentration plays a positive role. A current density of 350 A m exp -2 with 100 g dm exp -3 sodium hydroxde and 20 g dm exp -3 sodium chloride are found to be optimum and resulted in efficiency or > 90% W dissolution. |
