Chaperonin-containing tailless complex polypeptide 1 subunit 6A links with aggravating tumor features and disease-free survival in surgical gastric cancer patients: A long-term follow-up study

•CCT6A was increased in gastric cancer tissues validated by both IHC and RT-qPCR.•CCT6A correlated with advanced T stage and TNM stage in gastric cancer patients.•CCT6A linked with poor DFS reflected by K-M curve and multivariate Cox's analyses.•CCT6A showed a trend to relate to poor OS while lacked statistical significance.
