Zusammenfassung: | A technology for welding and subsequent zone heat treatment with the electron beam of highly stressed large welded structures of Ti alloys and high-strength steels in EBW equipment has been developed and introduced. Zone heat treatment with the electron beam under the optimum heating conditions reduces the residual stresses and results in distribution of hydrogen and stabilisation of the structure and properties of the welded joints in the weld and heat affected zone. These properties are not inferior to the corresponding parameters after volume furnace heat treatment. Zone heat treatment with the electron beam of welded joints in highly stressed structures instead of intermediate furnace treatment reduces the labour content and production time of components, while greatly reducing the energy consumption.
