Zusammenfassung: | The effect of grain boundaries character distributions (GBCDs) on high temperature creep and yield stress at room and high temperatures has been studied on AISI types 316 and 304 stainless steels. Different microstructural states were obtained in these steels by means of different thermomechanical treatments. It was established that mechanical properties depend significantly upon the microstructural state. The analysis of influences of different microstructural factors on deformation behavior of the studied steels confirms an important role of the GBCD in the mechanical properties. (Author) |
