Effects of small compressive stress on Tc for high Tc Bi1.6Pb0.35Sb0.05Sr2Ca2Cu3Ox
It is shown that a small compressive stress increases the Tc of high Tc Bi1.6Pb0.35Sb0.05Sr2Ca2Cu3Ox. The maximum Tc(off) is about 108.2 K at 392.3 kPa. Based on the XRD results it is concluded that the crystal perfection of the lattice ordering enhances the Tc value. 5 refs.
