Zusammenfassung:	The mechanism of the epoxy resin curing with dicyandiamide was studied using the model phenyl glycidyl ether. Some reaction products were isolated by HPLC and characterized by FTIR and Carbon-13 NMR spectroscopy. Examples are given to illustrate the presence of linear and cyclic structures with or without nitrile functions in the complex reaction mixture.
