Zusammenfassung:The phase relations in the AuFeSn system have been examined by powder X-ray diffraction, metallography and electron microprobe analysis. Occurring condensed phases, tie-lines and tie-triangles are presented for an isothermal section of the phase diagram at 400 °C. Au and Fe are only slightly interchangeable in the condensed phases of this system. No genuine ternary phases have been found in the AuFeSn system at 400 °C, and spot checks strongly suggest that this simple situation is retained between 200 and 100 °C.
