Zusammenfassung: | This paper examines the load and strain distributions along a geogrid reinforcement during a pull-out operation. Loads and strains along various sections of the geogrid reinforcement were measured at different pull-out displacements, with respect to different anchorage lengths. Numerical modelling was then carried out to simulate the operation. Comparisons between the measured and the simulated load and strain distributions are presented. The validity of the simulation and its application are discussed. |
