Zusammenfassung:Herein, we describe the copper-catalyzed aerobic C(sp )-H functionalization of 2-alkylbenzamides for the synthesis of benzolactones. This reaction proceeds 1,5-hydrogen atom transfer of N-centered radicals directly generated by N-H bond cleavage and does not require the synthesis of pre-functionalized N-centered radical precursors or the use of strong stoichiometric oxidants.
