Zusammenfassung: | This item has been previously abstracted from original Russian. A study was made into the influence of phosphorus, boron, titanium and niobium additions on microstructure, texture and recrystallization of commercial low-carbon steels types 08Yu, 08YuP, 08YuPR, 08YuTR with carbon contents of 0.03 to 0.06% and of experimental melts with carbon contents of 0.005 to 0.009%. It is revealed that low carbon steel microalloying with Ti decelerates recrystallization and deteriorates texture. Ti and Nb additions in ultralow-carbon steels improve texture due to carbonitride formation and ferritic matrix refining from carbon. Additional alloying with phosphorus decreases recrystallization temperature. Boron promotes formation of large-grained ferritic structure with homogeneous distribution of cementite phase. |
