Zusammenfassung:A 3-D simulation code has been used for investigation of a magnetic field in the plane of the electron undulator oscillations and a field in the perpendicular plane. According to the simulation results, application of the field in the plane which is perpendicular to the plane of the electron oscillations is more effective to achieve the highest efficiency. Also considered is the possibility of the beam cooling.
