Zusammenfassung:The addition of Ti and Si to fluoride solutions containing no other mineral acids improves Nb and Ta extraction markedly. According to their effect on Nb extraction these fluorometallate and mineral acids can be arranged in the following order: H 2SiF 6 ≥ HCl > H 2TiOF 4 ≥ H 2SO 4 >> HF. Solvent extraction from fluorotitanium solution was used to show the possibility of producing pure Nb and Ta compounds.
