Zusammenfassung:Previously abstracted from original as items Metals Abstracts 199507-12-0736, Aluminium Industry Abstracts 199506-R.2-0373. The aluminium base alloy type 1570 which is analogous to alloy type AMg6, except that the former contains scandium in amounts of 0.3-0.5%, has been annealed after deformation by tension and rolling at room temperature to investigate the process of primary recrystallization. It has been revealed that temperature range of primary recrystallization falls within 200-500 deg C and only slightly depends on deformation degree. The use of specific technique of x-ray diffraction analysis makes it possible to determine critical value of deformation degree (5.5-6.0%). In alloy sheets a film of aluminium oxide exhibits anti-recrystallizing and hardening effects on surface layer 50 mu m in thickness.
