Zusammenfassung:	Viscosities are estimated for a 46.5wt.%CaO-53.5wt.%Al 2O 3 composition melt. The Hagen-Poiseuille law is employed to extract viscosity information from two types of inviscid melt-spinning experiments. Calculated viscosities range from 0.31 to 3.2 poise over a temperature range of 1370–1510 °C. Results are compared to literature values for a melt of similar composition.
