Zusammenfassung: | The possibility of preparing lead phosphate flint (P2O5-PbO- BaO-Al2O3 system) glasses with high transmission (up to 95% for a 10 mm layer at a wavelength of 350-360 nm), high refractive index (above 1.65), dispersivity below 50, and a short-wave transmission boundary below 340 nm is shown. The experimental results were analysed using simplex-lattice design. It was found that glasses with the highest content of Pb(PO3)2 have the best transmission and refractive index. The compositions were optimised with respect to their crystallisability. The developed glasses are suitable for optical lenses and other optical systems requiring highly refractive materials with special dispersion behaviour and high transmission in the UV region. 5 refs. |
