Zusammenfassung:The macroscopic behaviour of a heterogeneous viscoplastic material is modelled in the framework of a self-consistent approach, which takes account of the elastic effects and of the viscoplastic relaxation. Cyclic loading (tension-compression) is then simulated using self-consistent and Taylor-Lin models and compared with experimental data. The importance of elastic effects in complex and proportional loadings is also discussed.
