Zusammenfassung:Since the deformation rate in a real material is usually extremely slow, it is impossible to simulate its actual rate by computer. Hence, it is crucial to devise practical methods of computer simulation to produce deformed states which are physically realizable in a real material. Various loading procedures are tested in this work, and the behavior of a crack tip is found to depend strongly on the procedure.
