Evidence for non-neural influence on hear rate variability in patients with orthostatic hypotension treated with Gutron

Zusammenfassung: | Analysis of hemodynamic-HRV spectral power interactions in patients with orthostatic hypotension revealed influence of abnormal hemodynamics on respiratory-related discrete spectrum at 0.15-0. 35Hz. This unusual interplay disappeared after Gutron administration. This paper presents clinical model of non-neural influence on respiratory fluctuations of heart period. The important result of our study was exposition of the limitation of respiratory-related component's pure noninvasive index of vagal activity in clinical states with altered hemodynamics. |
