Zusammenfassung: | A metal-ceramic composite of Cu-AlN was fabricated using a novel approach. A novel approach involving CVD coating was successfully employed to overcome the agglomeration and non- uniform dispersion problems typically occurring in conventional processing of particle-dispersed composites. The Ceracon process has demonstrated that rapid consolidation of such coated composites to high densities within seconds is possible while also retaining the starting phases and the microstructures. 8 refs. |
