Zusammenfassung: | The sintering of BaTiO3 ceramics, assisted by copper and nickel deposited from solution, was studied. The dielectric constant was measured as a function of temperature for ceramic specimens treated for various periods with metal salt solutions (Ni and Cu sulphates). Chemically deposited copper is shown to accelerate sintering without impairing the dielectric properties of the ceramics. A metal with a melting point lower than the ceramic sintering point will produce a larger effect. 5 refs. |
