Zusammenfassung: | This paper describes a transputer cluster as a subsystem to a general classroom environment. The classroom, which consists of standard MS-DOS PCs linked to an Ethernet, is used for different types of courses, therefore no specific configuration should be installed statically. A transputer cluster server is added, allowing for experiments on parallelism or dynamically configurable transputer sub-clusters. It involves special server protocols for control and improved throughput. Access management and timetables are included to ease classroom management, and to offer access to the dynamically changing configurations. |
