Zusammenfassung:We found the asymptotic solutions at low and high temperatures of the partition function of a general one-dimensional binary alloy. As a particular application, we considered the thermodynamic properties of quasiperiodic Fibonacci lattices. We showed that, at low temperatures, the quasiperiodicity produces an extra peak in the specific heat when plotted versus temperature.
