Zusammenfassung:Experimental investigations were carried out on electro-discharge machining of titanium in regard to surface finish, out-of-roundness, and overcut using rotating copper-tungsten tool electrode. An attempt was also made to compare the results with stationary electrode. It is shown that rotation of electrode improves out-of-roundness, surface roughness, and overcut. Out-of-roundness increases with an increase of current, with both rotating and stationary electrodes.
