A comprehensive review of paratubal lesions

Paratubal lesions comprise a large number of entities. Preoperative diagnosis is often limited to mass and location, with histology required to establish a more definitive diagnosis. The purpose of this review is to review the literature and summarize benign and malignant paratubal lesions to better understand what can arise in this area. •Paratubal lesions comprise a wide variety of entities.•Preoperative diagnosis of paratubal lesions is often limited to mass and location.•Histology is usually required for definitive characterization.•Lesions include embryonal rests, benign, malignant, and low malignant potential neoplasms.
